Unlike standard beam type detectors, 7 transmitters can be connected to 1 OSI-90 device. These transmitters can be mounted at different points or at different heights. In this way, OSI-90 provides volumetric smoke detection for places with different height points, such as partitioned areas or domes. In this way, the protection volume that even more than one beam type detector cannot provide is provided by a single OSI-90.
It notifies the user about the operating status thanks to the internal LEDs on the OSID. Thanks to the special commissioning kit, OSID devices are aligned with the laser pointer and perfect communication is ensured. OSID devices, which are not sensitive to building movements thanks to the CMOS sensor, do not need re-setting for many years after installation.
Economical Volumetric Smoke Detection Solution
OSI-90 receivers are used with OSE-SP or OSE-SPW transmitters depending on the required distance. As the distance and number of devices increases, the OSE-HPW model is switched and error-free smoke detection is achieved in larger volumes.
It is possible to protect an area of approximately 2500m2 with a single OSID device. Especially large areas in industrial facilities and warehouses are protected with fewer devices thanks to OSID. In this way, savings are achieved in both project and service and maintenance costs. Less devices are inspected during maintenance, resulting in significant savings in maintenance and maintenance time. OSID devices, which are preferred to prevent false alarms especially in dusty environments, are the biggest helper of fire alarm systems in facilities.
